Hello folks. My name is Maddy, or Madeline if you're my passport. If you're reading this, (hopefully) you are interested in my work as a writer - or not, and I'm a just a narcissist. Either way, here we are.
I am an Edinburgh based freelance writer (originally from Ireland) who writes blog posts, journals, articles and (non-pretentious) poetry. This portfolio gives an overview of my published work, and also includes some unpublished poetry/ articles/ blog posts if you want to get a better idea of what I'm all about.
I currently work as a freelance writer for Ascender Publishing, but have previously written for Vida Select (an online dating service) and The Tab Belfast as a journalist. I have had poetry published by Fourteen Poems, Lula Magazine and The Honest Ulsterman, among others. I am also currently studying a Mass Marketing Qualification from The California Institute of Adervtising, Communications and Marketing.
